The area is part of the mountainous area of the municipality of Davoli and is between 800 and 1130 m. approximately above sea level.

It is a mountain range with the morphological  traits typical of granite relief, massive constituent part of the northern end of the Mountains of Calabrian Serre..

The orography is on the whole softened by the dense forest cover.

 

The hydrogeological area represents the sub-basins of  two main streets of surface water runoff crossing the mining area (Fosso Sorbara-Vitello to  west and Fosso Vardara- Gigante to east).

It is from these wild places that Giant’s Water springs, pure and clear like the nature that is around.
